Dirty High Heels is a woman-owned landscape architecture and exterior design studio in Los Angeles. The studio philosophy is plain: a good plan should survive a contractor reading it on a Tuesday morning, and a good designer should know exactly what the dirt feels like under her shoes.
Every project starts with a real understanding of the site — soil, sun, water, sight lines, the way a family actually uses the space — and ends with a document a contractor can build from. Most of our deliverables are digital: PDFs, plant lists, mood boards, contractor briefs. The bigger packages include a live walkthrough, virtual or on-site.
We pick natural-feeling materials, regionally-appropriate plants, and lighting that flatters at dusk. We do not pick what is fashionable this season. The front of your house should look intentional in 2031, not 2025.
Advantage Design & Consulting Inc, a California corporation. Dirty High Heels is the studio brand for the firm's landscape and exterior practice.
Credit-card transactions are processed through NETbilling, a long-established US gateway. We never store full card numbers on our servers.
Plans, mood boards and briefs are delivered electronically — typically within 7–10 business days, by email, in PDF and editable formats.
Most clients buy a package, send a few photos, and answer a short questionnaire. The rest is on us. Bigger packages include a live consultation.
Either way — start with the catalog or send us a note.
