The plans, drawings, mood boards and consulting deliverables sold by Dirty High Heels are conceptual design documents. This page explains what they are — and what they are not.
Our deliverables are not engineering plans, structural calculations, surveying documents, drainage/civil engineering analyses, soils reports, electrical drawings, or anything that requires a licensed engineer, surveyor, or contractor stamp under the law of the jurisdiction where your property is located. They do not constitute permitting documents.
For any work that requires a permit, an engineering stamp, a soils analysis, a survey, or a licensed-trade install (electrical, structural, plumbing, gas), you must engage the appropriate licensed professional. Our plans can be used as a brief for those professionals; they cannot replace them.
Plant lists and material specifications in our deliverables are recommendations based on information you provide about your site, climate zone, soil and exposure. Local conditions vary. Plants can fail. Materials can weather differently than expected. We do not warrant that any specific plant will survive on your site, that any material will perform exactly as described by the manufacturer, or that any timeline will hold against weather or contractor scheduling.
We do not vet, license, or supervise any contractor or installer. When our deliverable references trades or vendors, that reference is informational. You are solely responsible for hiring, contracting with, and supervising any installer; verifying their licensing, bonding, and insurance; and inspecting their work.
Cost bands and rough estimates included in our deliverables are best-effort guidance for budgeting. Actual installed costs vary widely by region, season, contractor, and labor market. Do not commit funds based on our cost ranges without obtaining contractor bids.
Unless your package explicitly includes an in-person site visit, all design work is conducted remotely from photos, dimensions and survey data you provide. The accuracy of our deliverable depends on the accuracy of the inputs you supply. We are not liable for discrepancies caused by inaccurate inputs.
We make no representation or warranty that following our plans will result in any specific aesthetic, financial, real-estate, or property-value outcome. Photos, renderings, and reference images shown on the Site or in deliverables are illustrative.
